As Christians, we have chosen to follow the instructions that God has given us to live by in the Bible. We believe Gods word has instructions for every area of our lives, including our finances. We also believe that choosing to follow Gods Word will bring provision, protection, and blessings.

Tithe.

Gods word instructs us to give God the first 10% of our increase (income).

Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Offerings.

Gods word not only commands us to give our tithe, but also our offerings.

Malachi 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

Special offerings.

The Bible gives us many examples of special offerings such as: Thanksgiving offerings and, Love offerings.

Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

First Fruits Offering.

Historically, The first harvest of the season was given to God in thanksgiving of the expected harvest that God would supply them throughout the year. Today we typically give a special offering in January, in thanksgiving of the expected harvest that God will supply us throughout the year. Some people also choose to give this first fruits offering at 3 the 7 traditional Jewish harvest times (also called God's days of appointment): Passover, Pentecost, and the Day of Atonement. We believe that honoring God with these special offering, also sets in motion a special blessing and provision of God in our lives.

Passover see: Deuteronomy 16:16, & Exodus 34:20;
The 7 Blessings of Passover are:
  (1) God Will: assign an angel to you.
  (2) God Will: be an enemy to your enemies.
  (3) God Will: give you prospeperity.
  (4) God Will: take sickness away from you.
  (5) God Will: give you long life.
  (6) God Will: cause increase in your life.
  (7) God Will: give a special year's blessing.

Day of Atonement see: Joel 2, & Exodus 12:14;
The 7 Blessings of Day of Atonement are:
  (1) A Double portion.  (Joel 2:19,21,22,23)
  (2) Financial outpouring.  (Joel 2:24).
  (3) Restoration.  (Joel 2:25).
  (4) Special miracles.  (Joel 2:26)
  (5) A Divine presence.  (Joel 2:27).
  (6) Blessings on your Family.  (Joel 2:28,29,30,31).
  (7) Deliverance.  (Joel 2:32).

Leviticus 23:10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:

Not forgetting Gods house, while building your own.

2 “This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: The people are saying, ‘The time has not yet come to rebuild the house of the Lord.’” 3 Then the Lord sent this message through the prophet Haggai: 4 “Why are you living in luxurious houses while my house lies in ruins?

The Blessings of choosing to give.

Deuteronomy 28:1-3, 1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God. 3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.

Being a cheerful giver:

2 Corinthians 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
